This is a plain-language draft to get ZWUtils launched — worth a proper legal review before you rely on it, especially once real payments are flowing.

The service

ZWUtils is a directory connecting readers with businesses and service providers across Zimbabwe. Browsing is free. Listing a business is free. Featured placement is a paid upgrade via EcoCash.

Listing accuracy

Businesses are responsible for the accuracy of their own listing — name, phone number, area, and description. We review new and edited listings before they go live, but that review doesn't guarantee accuracy, and we're not responsible for a listing's content once approved.

We're a directory, not the service provider

ZWUtils connects readers to independent businesses and providers. We're not a party to any transaction, job, or service between a reader and a listed business, and we don't guarantee the quality, safety, or outcome of any service booked through a listing.

Moderation

We may reject, edit, suspend, or remove any listing at our discretion — including for inaccurate information, prohibited content, or abuse of the platform — without prior notice.

Featured placement payments

Featured placement is purchased via EcoCash for a fixed period. Once a featured period has started, it's non-refundable. Featured status expires automatically at the end of the paid period and reverts the listing to free/standard placement.

Phone verification

Listing a business requires verifying a real, working phone number by SMS code. Providing a number you don't control, or attempting to bypass verification, is prohibited and may result in account removal.

Prohibited content

No fraudulent, illegal, or misleading listings; no content that harasses, discriminates against, or endangers others.

Account termination

We may suspend or terminate a lister account that violates these terms. You can stop using ZWUtils at any time.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the service evolves; continued use after a change means you accept the update.
